Our Commitment
Authenticity Guarantee
Every item we sell is independently authenticated and verifiable. If we can't prove it, we don't sell it.
Third-party authentication isn't a selling point here — it's the baseline. We don't sell raw, unverified items in categories where grading is the accepted standard. Every piece carries documentation you can verify independently, without taking our word for it.
Coins — PCGS and NGC
Every graded coin we carry is certified by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) or the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) — the two most widely recognized third-party coin grading services in the world. Each certified coin is:
- Housed in a tamper-evident, sonically sealed plastic holder (slab)
- Assigned a unique certification number visible on the holder
- Verifiable on the PCGS or NGC registry at their respective websites
- Graded on the Sheldon 1–70 scale by independent professional numismatists
You do not need to trust our description. Look up the cert number yourself.
Sports cards — PSA, BGS, and SGC
All graded cards are certified by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), BGS (Beckett Grading Services), or SGC (Sportscard Guaranty). Like coin slabs, graded card holders are tamper-evident and carry cert numbers verifiable directly on each grading company's website.
Memorabilia — PSA, JSA, and Beckett
Signed memorabilia is authenticated by PSA, JSA (James Spence Authentication), or Beckett Authentication Services. Authentication includes a full letter of authenticity and matching hologram sticker on the item itself. Cert numbers are verifiable on each authenticator's website.
We do not sell autographed items accompanied only by a "Certificate of Authenticity" from a private party or the seller. COA-only items are not accepted into our inventory.
Bullion
All bullion — bars, rounds, and coins — comes exclusively from recognized government mints and internationally accredited refiners: U.S. Mint, PAMP Suisse, Royal Canadian Mint, Perth Mint, and similar institutions. Each piece carries the mint mark, fineness stamp, and serial number (where applicable) from the producing facility. We do not carry bullion from private mints or secondary refiners.
If an item is challenged
If you have reason to believe an item you purchased from us is not authentic — meaning the third-party certification is fraudulent, the item does not match the certified description, or the holder has been tampered with — contact us immediately:
- Email lbcoinsandcollectiblesllc@gmail.com with your order number and the specific concern
- We will respond within one business day
- If the concern is substantiated after our review, we will issue a full refund including return shipping — no restocking fee
Authenticity challenges are handled separately from the standard returns process. The 7-day return window and restocking fee do not apply to confirmed authenticity disputes.
Our recourse process
In the unlikely event an item is proven inauthentic:
- We will issue a full refund upon return of the item
- We will pursue the matter with the grading or authentication company directly
- We maintain records of every item's provenance and acquisition — we can trace the chain if needed
We have staked our business on the quality of what we sell. An authenticity failure is not a policy issue — it's something we take personally.
