- Phone number (if provided)
- Payment information — processed entirely by Shopify Payments; we never see or store your full card number
If you contact us directly via email or the contact form, we retain that correspondence.
How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Process and fulfill your order
- Send order confirmation and shipping notifications
- Respond to inquiries and support requests
- Comply with legal obligations (including IRS reporting requirements for qualifying precious metals transactions)
We do not use your information for marketing unless you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate our store:
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which processes orders and payments. Shopify's privacy policy governs data processed through their platform.
- USPS — for order fulfillment and shipping. Your name and address are shared with USPS as required to complete delivery.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies primarily through Shopify's checkout process. These are functional cookies required to maintain your cart session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Data retention
Order records are retained for a minimum of seven years in compliance with IRS recordkeeping requirements applicable to precious metals dealers. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing lbcoinsandcollectiblesllc@gmail.com. Note that we may be required to retain certain records under applicable law regardless of deletion requests.
